BraveTheNight.com Kickoff
I have previously written about taking to the night to feed the homeless. I buy value burgers at McDonald’s, and maybe some cans of pop, and distribute them downtown to anyone I can find who is homeless or in need.
Charity isn’t just a daytime activity. Need is most keenly felt at night. Imagine being cold, alone, hungry, and in the dark. Tonight I brave the night again, bringing food and smiles into the darkest, loneliest spots I can find.
I have registered a domain name for this category- BraveTheNight.com- which will bring readers to this site, showing them all posts in this new category. I hope what I do inspires someone to do the same, in their own way. Charity isn’t always easy or convenient, and those in need aren’t always found in the nice parts of town, smiling and taking in the sun.
Less is More
I have three computers. I really only ever use one at a time. They are things and they weigh me down. I know that in the hands of someone else, someone who needs a computer, they would not weigh them down, but probably help them soar. Continue reading
